How Sheet Vinyl Is Made
Sheet vinyl does not have the similar complicated construction as Luxury Vinyl Tile and Luxury Vinyl Plank. Each sheet is made up of three components: felt paper on the very bottom, vinyl foam in the middle section, and a protective vinyl layer on the top. Sheet vinyl is one piece made of materials like PVC, calcium carbonate, and wood pulp. Glossy sheets will have a polyurethane coating, and chemical embossing is used to provide the texture for sheet vinyl flooring.
Types Of Sheet Vinyl Flooring
Sheet Vinyl flooring is available in a few different forms. These resilient surfaces can mimic the look of genuine stone or tile, as well as the imitate your favorite hardwood flooring just as easily. You can even explore sheet vinyl with familiar patterns for classic appeal. Sheet vinyl comes in a single, easy-to-install sheet which makes it one of the most budget-friendly vinyl options, and can work for any space in the home.
